Hey there!
For this „Crafty Christmas“ I invited some lovely bloggers (from Germany) to share cute DIY ideas or recipes or even stories with you. Today I would like to introduce you to the lovely Katha of kathastrophal. I love Katha (we also met in person this summer) because she is creative and cute and so so sooooo nice! I have never met someone so nice, seriously ❤ And she was also so kind to share a DIY with you:
Christmas Lights with Washi Tape
Hey Lovelies!
Earlier this month, I visited Lu of Luloveshandmade when she hosted a crafty christmas blogger party. At this party, Lu taught me how to make a pretty christmas light. You can find a tutorial for similar lights on her blog: http://luloveshandmade.blogspot.de/2012/11/diy-embellish-jars-for-advent-candles.html
Today I want to show you how I made my christmas light!
Here’s what you’ll need:
Just take your jar and think about where you want to use your different washi tapes.
Now just wrap them around the jar – and you’re done!
If you want to, you can add some additional cute things like ribbons or bows.
At the end, put a tea candle into the jar, light it up and admire your work.
Have fun crafting! 🙂
All the best & merry christmas,
Katha ❤
Thank you, Katha, for showing us your cute candle idea! I am definitely going to make a few for our home!
